This is a 22re engine built with quality aftermarket parts to produce around 165-175 hp. Factory 22re produces 112hp. I had the block cleaned, checked for cracks, bored .40 and honed at METS engine shop in lafayette, It has a new crank shaft, new bearings, new piston rods from Lc engineering, New rocker arm assy toyota factory, new kieth black high compression pistons and rings from Lc engineering, and a new performance head with oversize stainless stell valves with the performance cam from Engine builders, new brass freeze plugs. This engine was built from the ground up, for performance and quality. All parts are toyota factory or a higher grade replacement. Not many parts are better then the orginal toyota parts except for some of the upgrades offered by Lc engineering, and engnbldr.com. You can look at these web sites and to price the parts on this motor. You can also price a motor like this and I promise you, you will not find one cheaper.
