Hey I'm schedualed to run Friday I believe.  I'd be willing to help out.  Let me check my ticket to make sure.

Question, I'm running 42x15's and I do NOT have a spare.  I've been fighting this issue for weeks trying to figure out what to do.  Who the hell carries a 42" spare tire? Anyway, are the people in charge going to let me run this trek without a spare?

Thanks,

Tom Bentzen

They are not supposed to.  There is a safety check at the trail head.  They check for about 10 items, and a spare is on the list.  Must be fairly close to the size that you are running (within an inch or 2).  They might let it slide, if you are with a buddy  and he has a spare of the correct size.  Call or email cal4wheel for verification.

Thanks for the reply. I'm running with a few guys, but they all have mini tires!  You know, 33 and 35's.  My truck is way set up, and well too.  But you just cant expect someone running 42, or 44's to be carrying a spare!

Hey Tom...

they make the tire plugs in 30 packs!   :conf:   Sounds like you might need a couple and simply do some stitching!

- sorry to be off topic... but it happens -

take care...
