calico update
« on: May 11, 2003, 03:00:19 AM »
well this saterday was a great day for wheeling
there were 12 vehicles with our group, so turnout was fair and the trails were great .first we started with the whopde whos ,rode through odessa ,where we met 20 jeeps coming up .so it was a long break while we waited for them to pass ,then we broke into a group of four for the harder trails. started with twister which is a bit of a pain lots of off camber stuff.
then we wheeled through doran with a few close calls for the jeeps in our party but over all it was a great test for my yota .
for all of you that havent been wheeling in calico you are missing some great trail and awesome views

there will be another run in calico next weekend
sponsered by xteras of ca i think they are meeting at mule canyon in the campground 8am saterday
if you can make it you should
