slow 81' build (finished cage pics, lots of them)
« on: Sep 27, 2009, 03:13:14 PM »
adding more to my toy, its already locked, geared, duals, longs, 36in tsl/sx, bobbed an un-godly amount out of the bed, shorted wheel base to 102 inches. my plan is to go 60s f/r 4 link rear 3 link front air shocks, and back half it and throw 4.7s in the rear case. as for now, been working on building a cage and finishing up a custom cross member. heres pics of what i got so far.

and now some of the cage

Cage looks good!
If you haven't already got your airshox, I would look into coilovers. I got my FOA coilovers for about the same price as a buddy spent on 2 airshox. FOAs cost alot less than most other coilovers and I am very happy with mine. its nice to have the adjustablity of a coilover. my buddy was never happy with his airshox. just my .02

Sweet rig/build
stupid people shouldn't have kids.

I so wanted to do the hole threw the dash its a good idea so you get some leg room right there. Also mad props on the tube work in generall looks really strong and done very well.
89 extra cab stock on 1 tons.
83 rolled with built toy axles
