mitchells very slow build up thread

i made these out of some 2" X 2" square tubing i picked up off of the job site
what do yall think

IMO, anything that is free is good... but that's cuz i'm broker than a project window. :qtip:

I have never believed that spending a lot of money got you the "very best"

Those will work awesome when you rest your rig on a rock and yep ... free is not bad at all!!!!
It's built Chevy tough with Toyota stuff!

i got about 10 sticks that where 8' long from the iron workers

you gotta love working construction. I use sprinkler pipe for my sliders, of course its always free from the sprinkler fitters.

here is my sprinkler pipe rear bumper
i am going to make a new square tube bumper for the rear to match my sliders
its been on there for about a year or so

finally finished my wheels today
these are 8 bolt hummer rims with pressed plates
first i cut the old centers out and i welded the plates in the wheels
it gave me a 3 1/2" back spaceing
i have the mag runflats in the tires with some used 37-12.5-16.5 military tires

i am thinking about doing chevy springs in the rear and rears up front
i only want to lift it about three more inches i have four inches now with stock springs 2" shackles and 2" body lift that was on it whin i bought it
i will be triming the finders soon
and i am looking for ideas on a square tube front bumper

well i have 4" of lift now with 37s
when i buy new tires i am thinking of getting 38s
i was thinking that 7" wasnt that bad

it is about 90 mls southwest of dallas fort worth and about 80mls west of waco
witch puts in about the center of texas
