First T-100 Crawler with auto trans coming
« on: Jun 09, 2003, 11:01:30 AM »
just ordered my dual crawler for the T-100.  this will be the first T-100 with an auto trans and a dual crawler.  i think there is one other T-100 set up but it is a 5 speed.  woo-hoo.

Actually, you will be the second. The first auto-Marlin crawler ever built (by a shop in SoCal) was a T-100. It no longer exists, btw.

The second auto-Marlin (and first Dual Ultimate Crawler) was my 4Runner. Built by myself and Marlin in his shop.

yup, i read your article on your crawler.  i did not get teh 4.7 in the back case though.  it is just way overkill with an auto trans.  so, what happened to that T-100??  was it an SAS??   we are so few and far between that i jump at the chance to see others that are modified.  well, mine will just be the only one in existence then.

You will be one of the three Auto-Crawlers in existence (there's one other 4Runner) and the ONLY T-100.

It's funny there aren't more. Any 96+ w/auto can now add a second reduction box just as easily as any other Toy. Marlin has all the adapters in stock.

I dunno what happened to the T-100. Last I heard the drivetrain was coming out for something bigger. The guy has lotso' cash and likes to go fast.
