Pros and cons on them and years please. I'm looking to get one for family 4x4 and camping but I am very ignorant of them please help

They seem to be nearly the same with minor differences.  Mid to later years had e-lockers available, and I've heard of head gasket issues with the last couple years.

I have a 1994 and 1997.  I like both of them, but my 1994 came with no roof rack and cloth interior, which I like better.  Neither have e-lockers.  I am still building the 1997, and I will be installing ARBs soon.
