Undersized and heavy. Looks like I'll go with mtr. Measures to a true 40 and weighs 84 lbs.

That is the case with almost every tire. Very few measure true to size. Pitbulls and mtrs being the two that I've experienced that do.

I didn't measure it without air and no vehicle weight. But from what I have read there is really no 40" tire out here besides the maxxis creepy in bias that measures true to size. And I'm not worried about un-sprung weight. Kinda anchors you to the ground lol. My buddie across the street had same size but toyo my and they measure less than mine???

This is a pretty good conversation on sizes and a lot of input from people. And my 5th tire did not come in so I will measure it before it gets mounted for sure and post.

If it makes a difference I measured from center hub to tread with straight edge and it was 19 3/4 to edge. So multiply that by 2 and you get 39.5. For me that is a better measurement because the vehicle is weighted and I measured from concrete to straight edge the first time.

You know these need their own review thread right?  These are too cool to stay lost in a one off pitt bull sale thread...  :)
