3.4 w series bellhousing
« on: Aug 17, 2016, 10:02:16 AM »
Had a friend ask me this the other day and honestly had no answer. He is wanting to do away with the r150 he currently has and replace with a w series. He prefers how smooth the w series shifts. He is aware that they aren't as strong as an r series. I haven't seen any way to adapt this, do you guys have any suggestions or know a bellhousing that works?

i don't think they make this adapter, you may be able to use 1/2 of a w series bellhousing, and 1/2 of a 3.4 r series bell. and make 1  :flamer:

I've tried to say just leave it with an r. I can tell a difference in the shift. Not enough to bother me. If ans when I ever get to playing with the 4runner it will definitely be getting the r151 with duals. We will see how it holds up behind a littlw more than toyota power
