I think you will really enjoy the MTRs.  I'm considering another set myself.

Id consider 37's and 40's, they look like 35's on the truck

I don't think I can go that big here with our constant headwinds and 80 mph speed limits. :)  Love to have a set of big ones just for deep snow though.

Small update. Blue is running strong now. I’m changing out the lighting to LED. Round headlight doors are on the way to prep for rigid headlights. I’ve also located a fuel injection gas tank out of 91’ 2wd long bed in preparation for whatever motor blue is going to be getting. And a new windshield seal has just arrived to stop the water from pouring in and rotting the floor. Right now the rot is limited to a strip just along side the passenger rocker. After the windshield problem is solved I’ll cut that section out and weld in a new panel.

Blue is temporarily out of commission. On the way home from work yesterday I could feel a chunky feeling coming from the transmission like gears not meshing right. I’m pretty sure it’s another input shaft bearing. Anyways I very carefully drove it 17 miles home at 15 miles per hour. Without applying too much torque. I didn’t want to grenage the input gear and be unable to get a replacement. After an hour and a half drive home with a couple stops at auto parts stores to let the bearing cool down and check to see if they had a replacement bearing in stock, I finally made it home without to much issue beyond the noise getting dramatically worse. I ordered a replacement bearing from Toyota which should be here in a week. Gonna go pull the transmission now. I’ll post my findings once it’s out.

Transmission is out with no drama. I forget how easy it is to work on a stripped down first gen. There is just nothing to them but the necessities. I have some cleaning to do before I pull it apart. I preemptively ordered a input shaft bearing for a G52 now thats its out I realize that its a W56A.  :shake:
