This means Mike, you have no excuse not to go and we will be expecting you!  Not even like youve got to drive it from miles away, like Washington or something.... :nerv:

Dont bother bobbing it... Just wheel it!

It looks like with my class schedule i should be able to leave on thursday night or friday morning.  We will see when the time comes!  And yea it is getting bobbed, that should only take a day to get that finished

At least now you don't have to worry about the truck going up in flames from the wiring!

Got the engine harness back in last night, reverse lights work and so does everything else.  :woohoo:  thanks to mike for finding me the plug for the transmission.

Finished that project tonight, now need to start working away on the little stuff.  Made a short list of things i need to get done ASAP. I am sure there is a lot more i forgot.  I should probably make getting the truck smogged and registered a prioirty.

Interior put back together

Drove it around again.

Partial list i need to add to and finish.

If i get a light bar im thinking like a 14" one to sit above the winch.

Gonna bob the bed soon.  Thinking ill take out 12"  (don't mind the rear shackles, i plan to redo the rear suspension pretty soon)

I had a 42" light bar mounted on my truck for about a month, sold it, whistled too much and the glare off the hood/windshield  sucked

A 90w 15" mounted near the winch like you mentioned is a good compromise.

Took 12" out of the bed tonight.  Doing a whole bed bob by yourself sucks, i should have waited for some help but i got impatient and wanted to get some more of my truck done.  I really screwed up on my cuts so for those of you who do not know, there is nothing like the fun of gap welding the bed sides.  The bottom of the bed i will need to cut a small strip off what i cut off and lay it over the top of the gap and weld over it because i have a gap that i am not even going to attempt to weld in.

I was going to use bondo to make the bob look somewhat decent, but is there really any point when the side of the bed looks like this?  we will see what happens, i might just sand it down and paint over it and move onto the next project.. or i might go pick up some bondo and attempt to make my work look somewhat decent from the outside.

I either need to fill in a little, pretty big indentation where the weld is at.  There was a little bondo under the paint where i joined it on the one side.

I wouldn't touch that bed, I would have bobbed it. But its a waste to try to fix the side, wheel it, scratch it and not worry

Hey Heath, how have you been?

I ended up filled in the driver side today at the bob, have to do the passenger side tomorrow.  It doesn't look great but better then the valley that was there after the welding, it was my first time using bondo,  :rofl2:  If you look at the last pic i posted you can see the gap i was working at.

Went and had two of the tires flipped around today.  Someone mounted them inside out.   I need to buy one 37" mtr kevlar and they are on back order since march.   No ETA.

I found a guy on craigslist selling two with low tread that i need to snag.  Hopefully he holds them a couple days!

You've never seen the auto zone specials? They are about $20 all the kids had them when I was in high school. I found out the hard way about puting them on the front of an 84 toyota. Pinion went down and dw got ridiculous. Lol

Double and triple check the tread pattern. should be opposite. Driver side tread both facing one direction and the p side should be facing the opposite way of how the driver side is.. it's funky but that's just how they are..

Yep all of the mtrs say "inboard and outboard" on opposite sides of the tires.  All three good ones were mounted the wrong way.

Bam 2 more 37" mtr kevlars.  So now i have a full set of mtrs and a spare.  So i can ditch the one 37" krawler.  I have a new mtr on order with america's tire but goodyear backordered them.  Went and picked up the two on the left.  I think i may run these two in the front and keep the newer one as my spare for now.  That way when i get the one from america's tire i will have two that are close to the same size

37" krawler i will be ditching.  It is an old tire which i dont want to run.  Would be a great spare though.  Maybe i will keep it also

Someone is going to ask why i bought more mtr's when i just bought a set.

The set i bought had 3 kevlars and 1 krawler.   The guy gave me the 4th mtr but it had a hole in it.  My buddy said he could try to patch this, others have said try to get it vulcanized (sp?).  Not sure if it is worth it or not, even for a spare.  Just sucks because it has 19/32" tread, they come new with 21/32", so it is basicAlly a new tire.

Ordered a pair of new 12" travel bilsteins for the front off ebay.  $135 shipped. :woohoo:

I need to take a wheel off my truck and measure the backspacing so i can order one more 17" rim so i can mount a spare and make a mount in the bed of the truck (hopefully).

I need to go find my list i made earlier, but what i think i have left is to move my steering box forward, mount front shocks, buy rear leafs and mount them (hangers/shackles/ubolts), rear shocks. bumpers and sliders, buy longfields, and give the whole truck a good look over.  That is the major stuff i plan to get done before mcr.  Possibly might need to buy a new battery and maybe do something about my motor.

I have a few other smaller projects that should be mostly free for me to finish.  For example, I need to install my rocklights. need to hook up my cb radio, need to mount my subs/capacitor/amp, install winch after i make a bumper, etc etc.  For the most part, i have everything to do simple stuff like that.
