Thanks for all the birthday wish's y'all.

After a lengthy birthday  :reg: hahaha. Back to 4runner, work, and baby. I have good news!

I got better pictures with my digital camera ( Trying to get them uploaded tonight to show y'all )

Also, GOT A MOTOR! Included with the deal I got : 1993 22re COMPLETE, w56 forward shift tcase, both shifters, engine harness, ecu, IFS steering box, exhaust with cat and muffler, sliders, rear bumper, radiator, all intake piping and random s**t I could grab!

I very excited about this aside from when I talked to Dave from Daves Offroad. He said the harness issue is gonna be a head ache. The AFM plug on the 89 harness is tied in with the dash, the AFM plug on the 93 is tied into the engine harness. So after me getting excited as a school girl I got shut down and thrown into a wiring issue. :shakehead: BUT. I have the intke from the 87 motor so Im thinking about getting a engine harness from a 2nd gen and swapping intakes instead of trying to cut and re wire for no reason. Anyone have input, knowledge, or links on this subject I would EXTREMELY appreciate it!

Ill be back with pictures! I promise.

UPDATE!!

Sorry ya'll. Lately has been crazy. Me and some good friends build a derby car to enterms into California Cal Expo Demolition Derby for our friend who passed away. Long story short this was the first derby car we ever built, we built it in 9 days! It started as a 76 Chevy Nova.

This is my buddy Rique ( Driver ) talking to Anthony Anderson the actor/comedian. He interviewed us and put us on TV. He's a funny guy in person. He went and wiped donuts in our car before the race! Haha

This is after the race. We placed 4th out of 8 professional cars and we won our first heat!

It was a awesome experience!  Haha

Alright now onto the 4runner. I got my motor in!!!! And she is back on all 4 wheels. It's been 3 or 4 years sense this truck rolled. It is on a stock toyota rear axle just to roll on for now. This is it on all 4.

4. - Military Tire ( For Daily Driver/Mild Wheelin Tires )
5. - Groove the :pokinit: out of said Military Tires
Me and my cousin mounted 37x12.5x16.5 by hand. I figured they would have been harder to mount but it wasn't that bad!

1. - Go through the 22re and trans to make sure its all good.
2. - Install Motor and Trans.
And we got the motor dropped in with the shop forklift. Looking pretty. Haha. I have some issues though.

Then we got the tires and rims set on the bead and mounted on my truck. Damn it looks good with full width 44 up front!!!

Alright I have 2 issues. My engine harness. It's a 1993 22re and my truck is a 87 so there is no way to adapt the two harnesses. So I'm getting a 1988 efi engine harness and I'm going to adapt that to my 1993 motor. It shouldnt be to hard I'm just worries about fuel injectors.

One more thing. This is a 1988 truck with a 1993 22re and w56 forward shift transmission. My issue. My 5 speed shifter is so far forward that it's under my stereo. I'd have to cut my body open and hack up my shifter to make it work. Why is it not lining up? I don't have a tcase or crossmember in yet it just held up on a strap at the moment. Motor mounts are the same and they have not been moved before. So if anyone knows what the problem is. Please tell me. Thank you all! Next week the rear end is going in hopefully! More pictures to come!

:beerchug: I got a Transfer Case!

 26. - Find Forward Shift T case

Finally thanks to my buddy Tom for the screaming deal off of his parts truck. All i used was a little but of Simple Green (Purple version) and a pressure washer to clean it. Came out pretty good. I don't want it perfect just fairly clean.

Cleaned up.

I gotta make a run to Ruffstuff for Spring Perches so I can get my Sterling 10.25 installed on the rear. I should be picking up a 1988 harness so I can get my motor started and running. Things are finally coming together!

Gawd I know right! That old hood is horrible. Thinking about color matching the front clip because the paint is in great condition in the rear. Not 100% sure yet because I don't like red. If I paint it, I'm gonna do the same stock graphics just with a different color layout.

I am on a budget somewhat so I don't want to spend a lot of money on my axles until I get 4.7s in my tcase. Witch won't be a while. I have a awesome axle guy next to the machine shop my dad works at and he said once I drop to 5.38's like I want I'm going to snap axles and u joints in my dana 44. And get this! My Sterling 10.25, no one makes a spool so I ether have to weld it or stick with the limited stock locker thing from Ford that's in it. So axles are down the road aside from rebuild, seals, and brakes.

27. - Get a Cross Member

Alright. We'll after my good friend passed away a lot of people took parts and stuff so it wasn't going to waste at his grandmother's house. I didn't want to takeep anything so when my buddy said he has the crossmember I needed and it was Brandons I was super happy! I remember his old truck havin a neon orange cross member and neon green cross member. So even though it will look like :pokinit: on my truck I painted it green.

14. - Original 4runner Roll Bar

Got myself a stock roll bar for $20. Pictures! Oh yeah. And the hood.

To much money for me. I don't have $1500 to drop on a case. Plus. I'll have fun fighting through stuff until I find a set up for sale. I'd rather spend $1500 on a 3.4L swap :smokin:

Now ill be getting my engine harness soon, and I'm going to work on it ether Sunday or Next weekend. I have to put my T-case in, Cross-member, and Hopefully rear axle! Not sure yet. But stay posted it shouldn't take to long.

Small update. Kinda sucks my weekend was taken over by my STUPID daily driver instead of working on my rig. But whatever!

95 taurus Got a tourqe converter so naturally its a complete cradle drop. Quick pictures because why not. Dont you guys looking at the inside of a piece of junk? haha

This is how I felt about the entire situation!

OKAY, OKAY! Ill stop posting pictures of my dumb Ford.

Now. the 4unner! I got up the hill with all my stuff packed to work on it when it gets dark and I was done with the Ford for the day. Sooooo, I go to get the tcase in. I got it in using the "tcase on the chest" process and got it in. Shifts smooth and looks good having more on the truck.

But here is the F***ed up part. I went to put my crossmember in and lone behold I forgot the damn tcase Bushing!!! I was so pissed I starting punching the fender. And NO not on the toyota. I was punching the Ford HAHA  :D

I decided to just take new pictures of my parts pile that is accumulating around my truck! I am slacking so hard its retarded haha.  :smack:

I have some welding to do from the previous owner cutting :pokinit: off!

Someone was going to relocate the shackle mounts, cut a hole in one side. And never finished. So im debating finishing the relocation project or welding it shut! I dont know yet...

Yes shackle angle is f***ed...

Sliders

Rear Bumper

I love the width of my truck now!

I got these new tires, never seen them before and love the side walls. I have 2 37x12.5x16.5 to pair with my military fronts for now. Anyone have any insite on these tires? If I like them I might buy a full set.

Thats it for now!

The Ford I seen coming, The 4AGE Toyota Corolla I just blew up last night was a surprise from hell! It shot the rod cap off and threw the oil pan at around 4500rpm  :shake_head:

Sooooo more money away from getting the crawler finished. This really sucks. $300 dollar rebuild kit, $110 crank grind, and the machine work. Another day is the Unlucky life of Jason I guess...  :help:

UPDATE:

Lets make a long story short, New engine in the 89 Corolla Daily Driver ( 4AGE ) and that means more time for the crawler.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuntil yet again another HUGE headache.

Im having a wiring nightmare from hell. Ill brake it down like this.

-I have a 1989 Toyota 4runner 22re with factory Dash Harness

-I put in a 1993 Toyota 22re and Forward Shift Transmission

-1985-1987 22re engine Harness

All the sensors in the Intake were swapped out with the older style 22re ones so the harness plugged in. But the plenum,TB, and Injectors are 1993

I took my air cleaner and a few other things out so I had better access to my engine bay, And I took out my Charging system harness to check it out. But this is my engine Bay as off today...

Ill get my cleaning and reorganizing time in after I get it running.

This is the Interior/Dash I have. I dont know if It makes a difference but I dont think anyone will complain about to many pictures.

Alright and here is my issue. On the left ( YELLOW ) plug is coming from my Engine Harness and needs to connect to my dash harness. But as you can see here they are not even close to the same. They have the same amount of wires but the colors to not match so I cant just match em up to Delete the Plug ( Witch I wouldnt do anyways ). I cant find proper Engine Wiring Diagrams to figure out how to make my set up work.

And More Pictures

IF ANYONE CAN HELP ID GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. I have been trying to figure this out for days now. If I dont have to change yet again another Engine Harness, Or have to chance my dash harness that would be awesome but Im pretty sure thats what im going to wind up having to do...

Also I got my Crossmember, bushing, and tcase all together so hopefully I can get the truck out of the corner of the shop to start setting up the rear axle for new perches and the correct pinion angle.

Sorry for the Cell Phone Pictures

Before the Sand Blaster

After

Not perfect just wanted it clean enought for some paint that wont last lol

Painted Chevy Orange

Together And in the truck. Yeah its weird, and not good at all. But it remind me of my best friend who passed away every time I look at it. And thats all I could ever ask for.   :usa:

If anyone can help with the harness, please do. Ill talk to ya'll when I get more pictures and Info!

THANKS!  :beerchug:

If only there was a perfect medium where it was dry enough to stop rust and cool enough to prevent heat damage
