Julia Lives
« on: Feb 03, 2015, 12:26:25 PM »
So Ive been on this forum for 10 years.
Julia has been off the road for 7 years now, so for two years ive been tinkering on her everyday.

Shes got a good 22r now all the ca smog crap is in place thanks to Marlin Himself :turtlehead:

I rebuilt the carb, sealed up the motor no leaks, and got the cooling system right.

Put carpet in, new dash, new cluster, went through and checked the wiring, and put 2 good seats and a awsome sound system in.

Put a good bed on her, 529,s 35in mtrs and a lock rite in the rear.

Also rebuilt my knuckles.

Paid up the tags and headed to the smog shop today . WISH ME LUCK.

So as long as it all goes well, The fun stuff can begin.

Going to pull the diffs, and sell. Have marlin build me a high pinon front and v6 rear with zip lockers.

Arb air comp

Dual ultimate crawler setup.

and high steer with 25mm pin kit.

Ifs rear axle.

relocate the axles for my 5 lift springs.

And cv drivelines front and rear.

bye bye tax return hahahahaha

Nice, if you are running a high pinion and duals you do not need a CV/DC driveline up front!!

X2,  I had absolutely no driveline vibrations with high pinion/duals without a cv on the front shaft.

Nice bumper. Where did you get it?  Why the zip lockers over ARBs?  Just curious.  They are cheaper aren't they?

Much cheaper, also the zips are based on the original Arb. When the patent ran out they were able to copy.

So Arb quickly made theirs even stronger. Their new locker is awsome but I'm not made of money.

Marlin has been running a original Arb for almost 20 years. :turtle:
