Kinda the same here, majority of roads are gated off toward the end of october.
RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

Well that kind of sucks... cause it's a lot of fun with a big group.

Runner's looking good there!!  We are getting our trees next Saturday.  Not offroading, but going up the Wilson to the Xmas Tree farm.
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

Drive a little further and hit up TSF in the minivan! Good trees out that way too.

Nah, I don't think the wife would like that.  That and the only place you can get permits and cut trees is Hebo, Siuslaw Forest.  We have too many things to do that do too.  Since she ended up with strep throat, and we were supposed to go to P-Town this weekend.

Well a bit late since its after new years but IVe been away from the forum awhile.

My family has a tradition of going out on thanksgiving day to get trees, so as usual we headed out and managed to find some snow and the cherokar did pretty well despite only being 2WD

Somehow no pics of the tree strapped to the roof, but a good time was had
