1981 Toyota 4x4 shortbed Clean interior and straight body
« on: Aug 18, 2014, 11:14:48 PM »
Hey everyone

Well the time has come to part ways with my truck. I've had it for about a year.. 22r, Had the carb rebuilt, put in a newer L45 transmission, fresh alternator.. Then blew the head gasket :( .. Tried to change it with some assistance but now it won't start. I believe it has something to do with the timing but either way it's beyond me and at this point I think I have to cut my losses and get it out of my driveway. I did some light off roading at the family ranch while it was running and of coarse it was phenomenal. Sad to see it go but not at the stage in my life to be spending time under the truck.  Located in San Francisco. DM me an offer.

-unmolested
-150k
-clean title and currently registered
-newer tires and spare
-light rust on the body
-newer L45
-new battery
-new alternator
-rebuilt stock carb 300 miles ago
-super clean interior
-stock dash no cracks
-needs new muffler
-22r head with EngnBldr 261 crawler cam

before you get rid of it, try turning the distributor 180 degrees.... also, if it was sitting awhile, make sure the battery is fully charged
