Alright I'm making this thread for travis he's making an account soon but heres the thread

specs

1986 2wd xtra cab long bed 4wd conversion
2nd gen rears up front with waggys springs
chevy 63s with 2" blocks
rancho 9000 12's in front 14's in back
5.29s lockright front and rear
marlin 4.7s single case
home brew front hanger, shackles, and high steer
Jeep rear spring hangers
7" shackles rear
6" front shackles

I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff so just ask if i didn't say it lol

He got the truck from his boss when he was a junior it was the old shop truck did the sas and 4wd conversion junior year then just recently rolled it about 4 months ago now, cab swaps about halfway through hoping to have it done by summer

the start

then he took 13" out of the longggg bed

the day he got the 4wd hooked up he flexed it on his dads cj5 lol

then the roll over

now its cab swap time today we got the new cab all set up with the harness and dash all in and we got the smashed cab off and the new one set on

taking the harness out of the smashed cab, label label label!

putting the 22r harness is the new cab was a breeze thought it was going to be way harder, must have been all the labeling haha

you can see the 3 holes on the left side of the firewall we had to drill for the AC, worked perfect

Notice the dent in the bed all from mr  :hammerhead: truck drivers winch cable when he pulled it back over  :smack:

Smashed cab all thats left to do to it is pop the windows out, swap the booster and master cylinder, pedals, the the vins and its ready to get cut up to scrap.

When we started today the good cab was empty we got the holes drilled in the firewall for the ac, wiring harness all done, dash in, switched wiper motors, striped the engine bay on the new cab, then pulled the old cab off and set the new one on the truck then we called it a day. Gonna do more tomorrow after work so I'll make him update it later lol

So last week we got the body all bolted down. The frame is tweaked just a little from the wreck nothing crazy and its kinda hard to explain, pretty much if you were looking down at the frame from the top the driver front shackle is tweaked towards the header just a touch so that body mount is off and can't be bolted down, travs dad said he wants to take it to work and pull on it cause he knows for a fact he can straighten it, or worst case they have some friends at kniesel's that can straighten out the frame for sure. On sunday it started right up and ran fine so that parts cool, just the little stuff is next like true stereo, tach, and get the parts he doesn't have yet. Doors, hood, fenders, front grill and headlight bezels and she should be good to get back on the road heres some crappy sun glare phone pics haha

theres seriously nothing too these harnesses haha

got the back window in and switched out all the side panels
