I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff so just ask if i didn't say it lol
He got the truck from his boss when he was a junior it was the old shop truck did the sas and 4wd conversion junior year then just recently rolled it about 4 months ago now, cab swaps about halfway through hoping to have it done by summer
the start
then he took 13" out of the longggg bed
the day he got the 4wd hooked up he flexed it on his dads cj5 lol
then the roll over
now its cab swap time today we got the new cab all set up with the harness and dash all in and we got the smashed cab off and the new one set on
taking the harness out of the smashed cab, label label label!
putting the 22r harness is the new cab was a breeze thought it was going to be way harder, must have been all the labeling haha
you can see the 3 holes on the left side of the firewall we had to drill for the AC, worked perfect
Notice the dent in the bed all from mr
truck drivers winch cable when he pulled it back over
Smashed cab all thats left to do to it is pop the windows out, swap the booster and master cylinder, pedals, the the vins and its ready to get cut up to scrap.
When we started today the good cab was empty we got the holes drilled in the firewall for the ac, wiring harness all done, dash in, switched wiper motors, striped the engine bay on the new cab, then pulled the old cab off and set the new one on the truck then we called it a day. Gonna do more tomorrow after work so I'll make him update it later lol
