I can't remember where I saw this but I thought it was awsome so I did it. Sick of those things slappin around. Plus they hit my shackles now that I moved the rear end back. I had to build a new drive line for the back too.  It's 4 inches longer I tried to copy the one I had exact weights and all.  I just slid a new piece of tube on to the yokes and took 500 measurements off a straight edge. Thin wall pipe works the best cause less weight to be off balance but its not as strong

Here's the new stance with bed back on. The cut outs don't really line up in back now that I moved the rear end back but I think ill just roll with it. My truck looks higher than it is cause the cutouts I did to stuff 39s but now I'm rolling on 35s and its unnecessary ill go back to 39s someday or at least get new front fenders wich I might do for my new 04 front clip that's in the making. Flex test coming soon. And a pic of my cousin trying to work a 04 taco grill into his third gen.

So yesterday I was welding the last few pieces in the top of the bed and didn't know it but my gas cap was right on the other side touching the area I was gettin red hot. Anyway I had a small fire it burned for 30 sec while I got a bucket of water then I found a fire ex. If it would have got through the gas cap I would have prob went boom got real lucky. So my new advice to everyone is to either keep a fire ex on your welding cart or on yer truck. I think ill do both.

I know nobody cares about this thread but I like it so I'm gonna update it. I made my front hangers. They are up 3 in higher than my old ones that were mounted on the bottom of the frame some day I might make these a little better with cab off cause its super hard to weld up in these tight spaces but I got to it all its just not as good as I usually like to do things. After I designed these I ended up lookin at trail gears Tacoma shackle kit and not even meaning to I kind of resembled the way they did theirs so this must be the way to go. Enjoy

The only thing I might change is the spacer that goes in between the shackles up inside the bracket, I think it needs to be bigger around to put bushings in.  I'm not sure how its gonna work out with no bushings up in there. I noticed trail gears kit has bushings that go in the upper mount

Here's the shackle angle with the motor back in and all the weight on it. I still have to add a leaf to my spring pack I only have 3 leaf pack right now. Once I adjust my spring pack I think the angle will be just the way I like it.

New motor picks coming soon. I'm lovin the freshly rebuilt 04 3rz it pulls the hills on the freeway with ease my other motor must have been tired cause holy crap what a difference. Maybe the leaky rings on my othèr motor had something to do with compression loss or something i never did test the compression. And what a smooth running motor. I'm happy with the job I did on this one.

Ok finally here's a few picks of the new ride height. It's a little lower than I thought it would be but I like it. I need a flat pitman arm now and redo my front bump stops ANSI should be good to go wheel. I don't even really wana flex it until the pitman arm is changed out. The new t100 oil pan gives me more than enough clearance I didn't have to smash it in with s hammer like my Tacoma oil pan for clearance.
