**TO CATCH A THIEF** Got My Truck Back
« on: Sep 17, 2013, 12:34:40 AM »
1st off, I'm drunk and celebrating. Forgive this post if it seems out of wack.

2nd off, if anybody wants this Toyota thief's address PM me, (2nd truck found in possession)

Old My 4Runner Got Stolen Thread

Long story short, about 4 Yotas get yanked from the area where I work. I got mine back, my co-worker got his cherry 88 back after dumb meth-head runs a stop sign and gets pulled over. Since this is public I wont say too much but everything is on public record. I get dudes address. Mine gets jacked AGAIN but not from work this time. I happen to case the address of previous thief every day for the last few days. Today I got lucky. It was sitting in the ally behind his house.

Me and my brother were locked and loaded ready to go in there and handle some :pokinit:. Made contact with PD and they held us off until they got there. We recovered my truck for the 2nd time within a 4 week period and its back home. Anyways, they swapped the wheels and tires, stole the brand new stereo system, tail lights, wipers, some stuff inside. I had a bag full of Craftsman tools and some levels that meant a lot to me...

Anyways I'm pretty lit right now, I did a huge burnout in front of the house with their tires  :D old 22re put it down

Here are some before and afters. Still in good shape, all the black is from PD dusting for prints. This piece of :pokinit: is receiving all of these Yotas if he is not the one stealing them he knows whats up. PM me for more specifics if anybody wants...

Tonight: Will have to add tail lights but other then that it still runs fantastic. Stole my new Marlin shift knobs AGAIN...

Plucked right from that mother f***ers backyard... Too bad there wasn't any resistance we were ready to rock and roll.

I am glad you got your rig back BUT WOULD YOU PLEASE install at least one kill device AND start using some sort of visual deterrent like a steering wheel club?

To have the same truck stolen twice ... I have three kill devices on both my truck and my MR2, where each have a device that is not in the cab (so someone could be in the cab for hours and still never get the vehicle started). I understand that if someone really wants it there are gonna just tow it away, but it at least keeps the tweakers and kids walking through a parking lot on their way home from school from messing with my property.

Regardless if clubs work or not, if there are two white 4Runners that look identical, the one without a club is getting broken into first.

Wash the print dust off ASAP or it will become permanent and won't come off. If it is the magnetic dust it will be hard to get rid of.

It's all off and the paint is shining again. Even ordered some 33x10.50's for it yesterday. Now I have to find some 4.56 or 4.88's.
