Yeah, i have a remanned 22r, and a newer model 22re that needs rebuilding...the course with the newer model 22re would be get a real turbo motor built for around 2500, or just put the remanned motor in and sell it .... Im really debating on what to do..

What did you do to fix the hole then? Weld a similar thickness sheet steel in place or beef it up with something thicker?

Yeah for the most part.. i did a crappy job doing that but i plan on redoint it before it sells.

Thanks. Need to do this on my 82 and debating whether to have a go at it myself or take it to a shop. I have little to no welding skills...
