My understanding (down this way anyway) is propane only. No wood or charcoal. Might double check with El Do FS though.

i called and talked to the forest supervisor today they confirmed no charcoal or wood bbq's, only propane.. she said to call back the day before we head up... fire restriction may be lifted by then.

I was just camping last weekend with someone who had one of those.  It is pretty cool.   You could even hang a dutch oven over it if you wanted.

Just sit around the battery powered lantern :gap:

Ahh, feel the LED warmth.  lol.

I'm stocked about getting to go again this year.  I will be missing one of our games, bad since I'm a coach, but committed to doing Medic this year before I was asked to come back.    Everyone please have a blast but be safe. Save the heavy  for when you get in camp and the wheeling is done :ladys-man:    Let's not need the "RED BAG!" :crossed:

ATTENTION: Our Helicopter pilot just informed us that he cannot get out of an out-of-state arrangement that was supposed to be completed by now and will NOT be able to make our event!!

We are all bummed! Sorry for the bad news, but please spread the word that Helicopter Rides will not be available this year.

Here is a basic itinerary for the event:

1p – 5p   Raffle Ticket sales

Saturday (Sept 14):
10a – 5p   Registration booth open (pick-up your packet)
10a – 7p   Raffle Ticket sales
10a      Frisbee Golf Tournament

1p      R/C Rock Crawl Competition
5p      Dinner Starts (this is 1-hour earlier than normal)

Not sure if this is the best place to post this or not...but...is it too late to ask for an additional meal with my registration? I can pay for it up there if there will be extras.  :cheese:

Tommy! :spank: Thanks for posting but yes it's much too late. My advice is to bring extra food for that person, however there will be a slight chance we will have some food remaining after all registrants have gone through the chow line, but we can't guarantee anything.

Check the registration packet pick-up booth where Christine (Mrs Crawler) should have a late-comer sign-up sheet just in case some food is remaining. Get on that list early (Friday afternoon if possible) for the best chance of extra good. But I still recommend bringing some food for that person just in case :crossed:

No worries. Thanks, Mikey!  :smokin: Bringing extra chow is the contingency plan in place already. Just thought I'd ask.  :cheese:  Nonetheless, see you all up there!  :beerchug:

Hello Big Mike, I was checking the guess list for the MC round up and did not see my name in it, a couple week ago was there but not anymore. I already paid my dues to Mrs Crawler at the PMC swap meet last July. Let me know what happen please.
