Warn vs. Aisin (stock hubs)
« on: Mar 01, 2005, 10:25:52 PM »
What does everyone think, is a Warn "premium" hub better than a stock aisin?  I will be rebuilding my front axle in the near future and want to use the best parts.  Thanks for any input!!!   :beerchug:

Save the $ that the warns would cost you and send your locking hubs and bearing hubs to www.hendrixmotorsports.com to get drilled for 4 extra dowels.  Thats by far the strongest setup.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

How much does it cost for them to drill the extra dowels?

$100 per set.  $25 per lockout and $25 per hub.

Keep the Aisin hubs either way. They very seldom break.

I have heard on many occasions of individuals "upgrading" to th warns only to have them break, then go back to their ASIN hubs with no breakage. KEEP THEM! (or buy the warns and sell me your aisins for spares!
