Thats the biggest pic that I can get to load. I am doing something wrong. I don't want just a bunch of links up but that might have to do for now. Glen suggested photobucket, but I've been using image shack. How do I get those nice full size pics to load THAT EVERYONE ELSE HAS UP!?!?!??? Thanks for the compliment on my truck.

Front axle has Longs w/chromo hub gears, Marlin built high-pinion 5.29 ARB, vented rotors w/new calipers, backing plate eliminated, TG rock rings, 1.5" wheel spacers.

You mean like this?

This is how you do it...

Code: [Select]

Be aware that by linking photobucket you can exceed your allotted bandwidth and your pics will go away until you get the premium account which means $.

If you reduce your images to lets say 500x375 pixels you should be under the kb limits on the board and still have enough size to see them.

If you use photobucket  you need to surround the links with this

Code: [Select]

The Ghost-Rider/Ghost Runner

No matter how far you fall, the ground will always catch you

Got these seats from a guy in Sac for $100. Great shape, out of a Celica.

Exhaust was done in a shop in Marysville by a buddy of mine.

Mounted the ARB compressor in the old battery location. Nice and level with easy access. :yesnod:

Mounted the Taco wiper motor so now I have intermittent wipers

Shot of the interior(don't laugh :rofl2:), I got a little happy with the pile of stickers that has been accumulating. Made a cheesy panel out of thin board and aluminum flashing. Used the Taco heater controls. At least my switches aren't flopping around anymore. Probably going to just buy a dash mat for the dash and call it good.

Did you put a 3/8" spacer on the driver side?

Yea, the spacer is there. I measured from the bottom of my bump stop thing on the frame to the top of my flip plate on both sides and the driver side is about a half inch lower. I have the spring off and now am wondering what to do. I have an extra set of leaf springs from another project that are 4". I also have a Superlift add-a-leaf out of a set of Taco rear springs, and I have the stock rears from my 80 truck, which are in good shape. So I have alot of optoins. I didn't take the other spring off because I already know that my problem is with the driver side spring. Any advice is appreciated. :yesnod:

I love the build so far, just got one question for you. Why did you have the exhaust roughted under the tranny like that. Was if for some emissions law?

Routing the exhaust down the passenger side would be difficult because of the front dl, t-case, and the gas tank. Pretty much have no choice with these swaps unless you get real creative. This was easiest option and works geat.

Not sure what caused it then. Maybe you could put some weight on the passenger side to try and level it out? Sounds like you have plenty of options if that doesn't work though.

Not really. I've done all versions of mine that way. I dont have that gas tank to worry about but you have plenty of room to snake it by the output and then cross if over and behind the T-case.

Here is a pick from when I still had Leaves.

Nice!! Yeah, this is my first build and I kinda went off what Mike and Marlin did to their trucks. I still have my tank in stock location so that would be tight for running exhaust. My buddy did pretty good job with the bending and welding and I got a screamin' deal at the shop he works in.

Funny, I was on your website early this morning looking at three link. Thanks for the help man. The front suspension is my main concern right now. Truck leans way too hard on front left corner. I think I flattened the spring a bit, drivin' me crazy  The future may hold link suspension for this thing.

I know Mike and Marlin did it because the C.A.R.B. office told them they had to for LEGAL crap. Your guy did a nice job keepin' it nice and tight to everything too, I just thought I'd toss in some idea's for you.

With no weight in the bed, this is how my truck sits :shake_head:. I've been told to drive it around for a while with a load in it to settle the springs, so I will try that and see what they do. They are 5" AP springs and I do have the spacer in there.

So I swapped the springs and this is how it sits now. Much better.

Still not where I'd like it, but for now I'm going to call it good and install the bump stops.

I decided to move the battery back to the stock location to see if it would help the truck sit more level. I have the problem now of not enough room for the AEM intake  Now I'm starting to consider moving the battery under the truck somewhere, get it out of the engine compartment completely.

Before moving the battery:

And after:

Looks alot better I think :yesnod:
