Topic: Please Help - Possible rebuild transmission L50/L52 - 1982 4X4

Hi, can someone kindly assist.  I need advise on whether to rebuild or not.  I'm looking to install a used transmission 1982, I'm not sure if it's a L50 or L52.

It goes though the shift pattern fine.  Inside the transmission some of the teeth are missing on the synchronizers, it looks by design?

What should I look for to decide if a rebuild is needed?
