Official- Who broke what at MCR10?
« on: Sep 18, 2011, 05:01:25 PM »

As the topic says, who broke what at the round up. Jeff and Kyle from toy connection were working on rigs all weekend long.

Seems as there were a bunch of break downs this year.

In our group a jeep broke an axle, a new rubicon broke out a side window and a 1st gen pickup twisted a driveline and sheared a center pin on his front leaf.

Luckily Someone had a recently rebuilt and tapped box to get me back on the trail.

I will get a pic up of how it broke when I get it apart.

My front shackle's came apart about 30 minutes below Lil Sluice.
Thanx to those crazy Canadians(Gary, John, and Cory) for helping me out on the trail with their ratchet-strap fix to hold my leaf spring on the shackle bolt so I could limp back to camp for parts and repair from those great guys at the Toy Connection pit.
Thank you Jeff and the rest of the Toy Connection crew for all of their help.
Best wheeling/camping trip ever!
Can't wait for next year.
If I hit it just right, I might make it.

I grenaded my rear third just before big sluice heading to loon, not sure how, not sure why since I don't have a heavy foot, but it happened. Luckily I brought a spare third and within an hour I was back motorin down the trail   Oh and my body and sliders took a beating for sure.
