Stolen last night from the driveway in Fremont Ca. All stock, EFI truck with 32" old style Mud Terrains.

Im thinking about doing the same. The east bay is getting worse & worse, its like Oakland keeps creeping south. Union city has definatly gotten Bad , same with fremont. Im sure its someone i know or an aquaintence of somebody i know who stole it. Probably scattered all over by now. Its making me think twice about getting another one as a DD again. Makes me sick thinking about it. Only had had 130,000 on it. I bought it with 90,000, it was a garage queen.

I hope it was some crack head. I think its someone who knows what they were looking for. There was a 87 runner in the driveway and they got into that to, only thing is there are no brakes or steering shaft in it so they left it alone. Im sure the 87 was the target being that i just sased it along with the usual stuff gears, duals , lockers.....
I guess they realized it wasnt drivable so my truck was the next best thing.

just got towed i had to pay $225 to an impound yard just to get what was mine back its bull

Sorry to hear about your truck. I can relate. I got my 85 stolen last month. I will keep an eyeout in the southbay. Here are a few things I tried. I posted a reward on Craigslist. I searched my neighborhood within a mile radius. I put up some fliers where I thought they would get some good visibility like supermarkets. I gave the fliers to the post office asking if the mail carriers could keep their eyes pealed. Keep an eye out on Craigslist for parts from your truck. This site is excellent because it will search all the Craigslists in a specified region

Currently, its set to look for toyota truck parts in all of CA. All this hasn't produced any results for me, but you could luckier than me and got a stupid thief. Good luck.

Good info! Thanx man. Ive been searching since the day it got stolen hoping that it will be around the next corner. What city did you get your truck stolen in? There is a 3rd gen that was stolen a month or so ago in Milpitas i think its posted on here. Milpitas is the next city south of fremont, just makes me wonder if any of these are related. Im dealing with my insurence now which is a huge pain in the ass.

At Livermore police station, they found my truck. All I know so far is that the engine is missing and they have no idea what tow yard it ended up in.

Getting it back more or less in one piece is better than not at all!! Glad it has been found, hope it is still in good shape and nothing else is missing.

Depending on were your located in cali. I'm in oregon and got some sr5 seats you can have for the rebuilt. Sorry to hear of your loss. Glad you got it back and with the axles still. But damn they cleaned house on the rest.
