so here is my project its a 88 4runner 2.4 efi... its all stock. I bought this rig for 250 bucks and it was running too lol what a steal huh ?

well i am college student and have really low funds.. but for now i want to put a small body lift and later do a sas

i actually have lol i am in kingsburg a lot actually...im from fowler im sure youve heard of that small town too lol...well good luck with your build man...in my opinion you might want to think twice about the body lift because as soon as you do the sas you wont want it anymore...i know on my project right now it has a body lift and thatll be coming off or at least will be getting shortened

yea cool deal i pass through every weekend heading out to the junk yards in fresno... yea i dont  really have the money saved up for a sas.. but i am kinda nervous to do it looks challenging lol

just keep reading up on it....ive never done one before but im in the process of doing one right now...going slow due to money but its pretty simple once you get the idea of what to do....is the runner your dd or just a project?

well dd but eventually my project i have a 1980 so once i start i can drive that one until i am finished with the runner, here is the pic of the 80

Not bad for 250! im just down the road in fresno..yea i not into body lifts either...make sure that thing doesnt have a blown headgasket for that price! :gap:

well i am updated at last its been awhile; but nothing has change just got some rims and shackles and a flowmaster..... next thing to order is my 4.70 transfer kit gears!!!!

That's a clean runner... You can't go wrong with the 4.7 kit if you follow the dirrections.
1985 toy, Hybrid 20r/22r on propane, 30splines, custom built leaf packs, welded front and rear diffs, dual ultimate crawler, full hydro, full exo, flat bed, 37' mtrs

clean runner! i would also advise against a body lift, you wont like it once you get springs under it. just save up for an sas, you'll appreciate it in the long run

well i didn't take any pictures; but i just finished putting the transfer case in my runner. I totally felt the difference in the gears.. amazed what it did!!
