Well Dave told me that even though I haven't started I needed to post a new thread so it doesn't seem like he made a child board just for himself.  hahaha  Ha Ha  Moon

Anyway, heres my dad's 55. He's working in San Diego right now and has no time to get to work on it. I'm going to try and get this project going so he can get out on the trail when he does get back home. It's not going to move too quickly unfortunately but I'm going to do what I can.

When I towed it home a couple of years back, I told him the A pillars had so much rust it looked like the roof was waving at me in my rear view mirrors.

This is really just the frame I'm using. He has another body that as 55s go, is in great shape.

This will make for a good practice body while I get the suspension, tires, and drivetrain dialed in. Then when I have a good rolling chassis I will swap the tubs.

True, it should help you figure out clearance issues before you get the other body on.

BTW, I  Love! your cruiser.

Thanks, I still need to finish a bunch on mine. I've been itching to start throwing parts on my Dad's for a while. Now I just need time for either of them.  Hammer
