I'm a perfectionist as you may have guessed.  The truck is stored in the garage and also has a waterproof breathable truck cover when it's parked outside.  This isn't a show rig but it's extremely reliable and practical.  I've used it on multiple occasions as a daily driver.  Mostly it's my secondary rig.  I'm moving and will no longer have a garage.... so it's for sale.

19-20 MPG on the road.  17-18 Mixed.  We took it on a road trip to the Grand Canyon and Colorado (over 4,600 miles).

Here are additional items available to purchase with the truck:  New Trail Gear IFS Steering Box Tapped for Hydro, 22rte Turbo Motor w/ everything except the manifold & turbo, truck cover, Optima Yellow Top Battery, 12" Drop Hitch.

It will need the back gears replaced at some point.  They are starting to make noise.  Rob's Off Road in Portland installed them (don't recommend them).

Here's the for sale rules:
1. Bidding starts at $8,500.
2. Trades maybe only if it's an incredible deal (for me).
3. Only post nice things. I don't need critical comments.  :)

Video tour will be posted soon.....

This is a $17,000 4runner Offered for $8,500.

Thanks for the responses!  192,744 miles.  Of course that's on the body.  Motor and Transmission have been replaced.  :)

I'm planning to attend the upcoming Marlin Rubicon Trip (if it hasn't sold by then).

Wheeled with this at the Colorado 4Runner Jamboree last month, what a sweet ride!! And it was on one hell of a road trip before/after that as well. I'd say it's 150% worth the price. I didn't know you had that much wrapped up in this truck!!  :yikes:

I'm not really looking for trades.  But I'd consider a trade if I could make money on it.  :)
I might be interested in a Warn 9.5 XP winch.  What did you have in mind?

I had someone look at the truck this weekend.  They pointed out every ding and scratch in the truck.  I told them this isn't the truck for them.  It isn't a show truck but it is in good condition for being 23 years old (with original paint, no bondo, no rust).  This truck was built to be driven off road and long trips.  You won't break parts and it won't leave you stranded.  It's made to tackle difficult trails and can drive anywhere.

Thanks for your interest!

*this is just an FYI, NOT a dig on your ride*
I just sold my rig this weekend which I have been trying to sell since april. I got just about the same as your asking price. This rig had a 2001 3.4 v6 from a tacoma (w/ 65K and only 81K on the truck), r151 turbo 5 speed, marlin clutch, 23 spline dual ultimate crawler w/ 4.7s and twin stick, v6 IFS rear w/ ARB, 85' front w/ high pinion 3rd and ARB, and was just as clean as yours appearance wise. So if your in any sort of hurry to sell....
Now your runner is beautiful, I love it, and if it were a 5 speed I'd probly consider hard making you an offer. So I'm not running it down. Just understand, that it hurts to sink all that money into something and lose it when it comes time to sell.

Thanks!  Congrats on selling your truck too.  It always takes the right person; someone who plans to use it for it's intended purpose.  These trucks are a horrible investment.  I paid $4,000 for the truck 3 years ago.  Now it has an additional $13k or more in parts/upgrades.

It's always less expensive buying a well built truck than doing it yourself.  My front axle has nearly $3,500 in parts (I have receipts to prove it).

I appreciate everyone looking!  :)

People who nitpick vehicles like that are just asking for a  :slap: .
Here's some 'action' shots from the 4Runner Jambo:
