hi everyone I thinking purchase an 67 fj40 and install an v8 lexus motor 2ur-gse or fse with an automatic, the fj has the original motor with a 3sp, my question is has anyone done it type of swap yet with an automatic? if it has been done please give me some head up or details about the process thks.

I have not heard of anyone using a Lexus 5.0 engine. If you would consider a 2UZ-FE v8 then if would be possible. We make the A340 transmission to t-case adapter and with the use a ToyBox we can adapt it to the factory t-case. I would recommend looking at upgrading the t-case to the BF1A split case. You would also need to do a spring over axle and change the oil pan to a 100-series oil pan.
