i havent got to drive the truck around the block yet, but ive backed it in and out of the driveway a few times, and they seem to work great, i only have to hit the pedal once, no pumping to stop.

is that a square rear drive shaft? have you ever experimented with welding sheetmetal to the male end? i did it to my freinds and it has no play in it now. i used 24 gauge and had to grind all over it just a little bit with a flap disk, just because the female square tubing isnt perfectly square. i welded a strip on all 4 sides.

with these plates, you should be able to mount the caliper on the front or rear of the rear axle, right?  mines rotated a crapload so its gonna be one way or the other for clearance reasons.
seems like you should be able to install it on either side...
