92 Single Cab SAS'd (Update 3/31)
« on: Feb 09, 2009, 08:04:18 PM »
Well my buddy Andrew is finally SAS'ing his 92.

Going to be a pretty standard build. Im sure he will chime in with details and what not.

Gettin a Toy axle and gunna run 33s for now. Its an allpro SAS kit for the front and probably ford 54's in the rear.

Pics in a few

i dont think the fords are a bad idea. id say go with the chevys but there long and i think there a bit harder to work in with a single cab truck. i know when i did mine i pushed the rear end back a tad over an inch to clear the front of the tire at the fender. stretch that WB as much as you can.

Thats exactly what I told him and why I recommended the 54" fords

youll have to grind the :pokinit: out of the gussets. it sucks. they should have came with a big old 45* in them where the top bearing goes.

Yeah I told him he needed to grind a bunch off and he did. Its kind of a stupid design. They should really fix that.

Hes goign to put the knuckle on tomorrow and see how bad it is and grind till it fits.
