Has anybody run these tires?
« on: Dec 26, 2008, 05:40:02 PM »
These are the cheapest 33's I could find, but I'm not sure they're close enough to a mud tire for me.  http://www.laramietire.com/line/tlt_trailcutter_radial_mt.htm

They look like they would do pretty good for winter time driving.  Alot of good siping to the tread.  The siping will help in wet, icy, and snowy conditions.

So, what do they cost!

Never heard of them.  Good siping though.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

That's what the guy at the tire shop was saying when I called, lots of siping, and they're made by cooper.  If you've never looked, you'd be really surprised by how many tire companies are owned by cooper!

I suppose as long as they hold air, and don't disintegrate at highway speeds, then they're prolly OK. Not sure I'd run the 'con on them, but they'd prolly do well for most general wheeling.

Cooper tires are really good tires.  They have tough casings which holds up to abuse pretty good.  I'd for it!

Really good center tread for stability, and aggressive outer lugs for traction.
