It's Almost Done
, Painted the drivers door and prepped the fenders today, tomorrow I am going to buy a tag for it, get the door and door components back on and paint the fenders, other than a front bumper it will be driveable on Sunday
and then it goes to my sister and brother-in-laws shop next week for inspection stickers
and tires balanced

Here are a few pics, I am fighting a stalling issue, only stalls when I am driving and come to a stop, won't stall while I am trying to diagnose the problem

PA has a 30" bumper height law so that brings it down to legal height. It also makes a good step to get up on to the bed....its only held on with 4 bolts so I can take it off when I go wheeling, It's alot cleaner looking without it but for legal reasons it has to be there for street driving

our insurance for lifted trucks here has got a little carried away and i was wondering how high you are from the ground to the bottom of the sas bracket exactly?? i have a lot of spare parts kicking around to build another truck and i was curious to see how tall you are exactly... actually, can you do me a favor and measure from the ground to the bottom of the sas bracket and then from the ground to the bottom of the front frame cross member?? i would really appreciate it for the height reference..
i really like the way your truck has turned out so far!!

wow CruzrDave has a really nice truck. Makes me want a 90's style truck so I can have a 3VZE. I hope my 2.7 will keep up with Dave's 3VZE power plant.

them bumper laws are
thst twas a good idea making it removeable
that seems awfully tall, my frame height is at 25in with 37in irocks RUF and F150's
my truck is 1983 long bed SR5
oh yah instead of lifting front more maybe move rear shabkle so thart it has more of slant in it
my truck isn't has pretty as yours

moving rear shackles is not an option, they fold flat against the frame when flexed if they are moved forward at all, I do have some shorter shackles I could swap out to lower the rear.

I can't get the stalling issue worked out ( I think the carb has an internal fuel leak, when it sits for a while the fuel bowl goes empty and there are no external signs of leaking ). and The alternator stopped charging yesterday.
My plans are 32/36 weber with vent mod, GM internally regulated alternator ( I have plenty of them laying around ), and I have a couple MSD 6al ignition boxes and blaster coils laying around so a pair of those may go on it as well.
would like to go fuel injected but thats not really an option right now

or maybe pull a leaf or two out of the rear pack..... put some weight on the rear and go do a good amount of flexing both sides out... then see how she sits.... that is one clean truck, I'd be scared to get it dirty
