That takes me back.  I've got a bunch of model cars still in the boxes.  I loved the hot rods and el caminos.  Grandpa and I would put them together, but he was more into the WWII era models, ie. battleships, tanks, and such.  He would get really detailed and tell me how they were set up in real life.  Good times.  Big Thumb Up

I just bought a 77' Datsun Pick-Up with Rockwell axles model off e-bay.I had one when I was younger and I wanted to build it with some regular off road tires and my Dad made me build it with the monster truck tires it came with. This was in the 80s and I've been looking for one of those kits for a couple years now and finally found one on e-bay,in fact I found 3 of them.

There's a couple of places over here in So-Cal that stock them, there's also a standard cab long bed model and a 4-Runner and 2 wheel drive lowered mini truck versions too. They're Japanese models so the instructions are in Japanese (Maybe BigMike can help us on that one, although I doubt they have a 3RZ swap for them  hehehe ).If you're really interested in getting one Dan,I'd contact Pegasus Hobbies in Montclair,Ca ( http://www.pegasushobbies.com/gal_cars.htm  )...They have them in stock,if not I'm sure they can order them.
