XJ cargo racks found a new home.
« on: Jan 28, 2008, 10:05:02 PM »
I was out at a buddy's the other day and we were just kinda staring at the bed of my blue truck waiting for the paint on the tailgate lock assembly to dry, and I had a revelation.  Mount the old XJ cargo racks inside the bed for bungie anchors.  I lined it up, and without the little taper things on the ends, the racks fit perfectly on the inner bedsides.  They're about an inch away from hitting the tailgate latch.

Lol sorry...Yeah I have two comanches.  The red one is my nice, gas-mileage DD, the blue one is my project truck.

See sig for details :P

Nope, steel.  Just a lil' rusty.

lol so true...It's gonna get taken off and get some better re-inforcements welded on, and I'm sure I'll sand it and paint it then.  But for now it's fine.
