No coil or distributor? BTW, I was told to ask you of the efi manifold will work on an 84 22r head. Some say it does, and some say it doesnt. You know the answer?

I do have an 88 distributor I can throw in for the full price, but I can't remember if it's from a carbed or efi engine though I can check. Coil is a no but carb and efi coils should be the same, MAYBE a different igniter but I don't honestly know. As for it working on an 84 head I'm thinking no, but 84 was a year when they changed lots of little things so they may have used the same head as the efi celicas ran.

I have my 87 runner efi stuff on an 84 head. Just gotta make sure the mounting holes are there.

Just looked throught the pirate FAQ again, and someone there used an 84 head also. Apparently the 83 head doesnt work, like some say it does.

Just keep those parts. You will need them later anyway. We will make an adapter plate to run this on a 20R head and you will be the ruler of the free world with a ghettolicious 20R-E. You don't honestly prefer carbonnators, now, do you?

Hell, I'll make the adapter plate for free if you send me the aluminum. I need an excuse to buy a drill press anyway.

Any way of finding out exactly what year it is? I think you can tell by the injector plugs... I know that they made some changes to the 88 efi sytem from previous years. I'm still trying to decide whether or not to buy a whole different setup, or try to piece together my 88 setup.

Aaron, you forget I still have the 4runner if I need this stuff later on.

toyotaman, the guy I got it from said it's off an 87.

I'm going to be parting out a motorbike on ebay in a week or so, so any toy parts I haven't sold by then will likely end up on there as well unless somebody here seriously wants it.
