NOT really.Have you seen the W7's?? Now thats the shitzzzzzzz...those things are over 12 i nches tall. W6's are old news.It's all about the w7's now!!!!!

In my opinion they are better than the w7s,   
But I like fosgate, different people different opinions.
But I do like that really smooth bass the w7s have. 
The t2s slam, I sat in a civic with 1 15 and when it hit I actually could feel it in my heart.

i guess it all depends on your style of music and what its in... JL is by far my favorite sounding sub.. i dont like the w7s cause its too much for me in a toyota cab. i run two ten w-0's and its enough for my rap good for my rock and i can tone it out or bring it in... im going to try out a couple w-3's for just a little more... having these two 12w3's would give plenty in a toyota and would provide some loud clean sound... noting is wrong with them just dont need em...

for all you non spanish speakers jl has the w0 which is base model but good sounding

the w3 which is a really good all around gets louder and stays crisp

and the w6's and 7s for those that like it extremely loud...

im with you toyota boy, toyota cabs with big subs are overkill, and tryn2 crawl w6 are the shizz too you obviously havent heard one......... mine is last years model there are old w6's i cant speak for them but my new 12w6 is more than enough for my yota
