I HAVE AN 81 SR5, WITH 529 GEARS, DETROIT IN THE BACK AND A LOCKRITE IN THE FRONT, 35 INCH TIRES, A WARN WINCH, A 4 INCH LIFT AND ROCK SLIDE RAILS, I AM WONDERING IF MY RIG IS READY FOR RUBICON??? I WANT TO LEAVE THURSDAY NIGHT FROM MARLIN'S SHOP WITH EVERYONE ELSE. I JUST DONT WANT TO GO WITH THE GROUP AND GET LEFT BEHIND ON THE TRAIL. I AM A FAIL DRIVER, MORE DARING THEN SKILLED, BUT WILLING TO ROLL IT IF NEED BE!!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN ON A GROUP RUN BEFORE, I WAS JUST WONDERING IF THE REST OF THE MARLIN CRAWLER GROUP WILL HELP ME THROUGH IT OR LEAVE ME BEHIND TO FEND FOR MYSELF????

You don't have to be daring and roll, it will just hold the group up. Your truck sounds like it will do fine, just relax, pick good lines & you will forget it was daunting after the first few miles. You gain experience by actually going & wheeling. Some things are still intimidating to me, they are just different things than when I started.

i made it with 33's, open axles, 4 inch lift, 4:88's and two come-a-longs.

oh yeah the old 22r was so tired it smoked like a frieght train and used up two quarts of oil on the trip.
1985 4runner on 35 boggers.  22re, W56 tranny, daul cases with 4:1 in the back case, ford f150 fronts with 63" chevys in the back, cross over steering, full width chevy axles with detroit back and ARB front,

You won't have any porblems.  Maybe just your clutch burning up if you use it too much.  But with the lockers it will be fine.
