Topic: Reminder to PLEASE be EXTRA careful!!!!

Just thought I'd post this as a reminder to be extra careful,not just by cleaning up after ourselves but to take extra precaution in ALL of our actions...The reason I'm posting this is because we lost ANOTHER wheelin' brother last night.Willyswanter (NorCal Big Dawgs) from the Pirate Board drowned at The Rubicon last night,I did not know him personally but one of our buddies was with him on the trip.This is VERY sad,the wheelin' comunity has lost too many good people this year.I don't know the details yet,I PMed my buddy that was in their group but have not heard anything yet.I just wanna remind everyone to PLEASE be EXTRA careful,let's think twice before we take that crazy line or go for a nice swim,etc...My prayers go out to his family and again,PLEASE let's take precautions in everything we do.Here's a picture in case you don't know who he is:

When I was flying up there last night I saw a huge cloud of dust pop up just past Buck towards the springs. I wonder if that was them. So sorry to hear about the loss of another wheeler.

Not only do we need to be carefull and keep everybody safe, we need to watch what we and other do that would be considered to be out of line. We have plenty of people and organizations that would like to give MC and our sport a hard time. Please lets try to keep it fun without doing anything that will effect the cause.

i dont want this to sounds rude at all but how exactly did he drown? like did he roll it into the water and couldnt get out or wat happened??again i didnt write this to be rude just wondering the details on how he passed.

There's a 6 page thread on Pirate. I think I might have gotten a picture of the chopper lifting off or landing. I was flying a Cessna overhead at around 6pm last nite.

Well I just got off the phone with the guys that are up there. They are all O.K. and are still on the trail. They had an idea of the outcome but I was the first to confirm it for them and it didn't go over well.

I guess he was swimming out to Buck Island lake with a few others and he went under. Once they got him up and out they began CPR until the Helo arrived and took over. That was all they knew and all they had heard. They called me as soon as they had cell reception. Some are coming home tonight and some will be leaving in the morning.

Man, that really sucks.    I hope we don't get news like this again anytime soon.  Prayers to his family and friends. Especially for those who were there when all this happened. I'm sure they feel like  , I know I would.
