KEYS?

Why make it that easy?

I hope you mean to say they broke into your house and stole the keys, not that you left them in the truck.

What? so you chased him down in a rental car and he got out of the truck with your keys and got away, something sounds fishy.

the keys were stolen from my wifes work. the guy went behind the counter and got the keys. we have proof of everything on camera and are just waiting for the guy to be caught. the cops were chasing him yeterday and he ditched the truck and took off on foot. the guy is in the mira mesa area or san diego. thats all i can say for now but ill tell ya more once its okay to do so.

from what i read...him and the wife spotted the truck from their rental car (needed because they had no truck) and tried to block the perp in....then were rammed by the suspect.. i cant believe someone would try to drive the truck as their own and act like nothing happened :screwy:

:headscratch:  I thought the new toys had some sort of sensor thing that has to be X distance from the transmitter in the dash for the truck to run?

glad you and the wife are ok... i dont agree with trying to block the guy in or go after him yourself, but sometimes we do things as part of fight or flight.... luckily he wasnt armed or put up a fight..... not sure about your login, but if you are or were a marine then there was probably more reason for him to be scared, but. yeah generally thats jsut not good..... let the cops get shot, thats what we pay them for ;)

glad you got the truck back and you and your wife are safe...... where does your wife work that the keys were behind the counter? my keys are always in my pocket
