I bought this truck a few weeks ago,it's a '98 Tacoma and it had a Dana 44 front and a Chrysler 9 1/4 rear wich will be pulled out and replaced with a Dana 60 front and Dana 70 rear. The truck was missing the bed along with a bunch of other things but it was a project that was allready started. It was originally a slammed 2WD on air bags.I will be piecing it together and changing a bunch of things on it,I'll post pictures as we go along. Here's some pics of it on it's way to my friends' shop.

So the Chrysler rear came out and the Dana 70 went in and we also replaced the stock rear Taco springs with All-Pro 5 inch springs and 1 1/2" AP shackles.

I started looking for Tacoma beds and couldn't find one cheaper than $1800 and one of my friends called me to tell me he had seen one at Pick-A-Part,so I drove down this morning and sure enough, there it was.

Thanx man, yeah it was for sale and I bought it,tried to sell it and then decided to keep it.I've come to find out that I hardly have time to work on major projects,work,wife,kids,life,etc...The Jeep was done,I would only have to do minor things here and there,I was originally looking for something completely stock.Sure I'm glad I got something that was started otherwise it'd be a while before I'd be able to wheel again, plan is to be done by the Jambo on this one.
