Marlin Crawler is proud to release there new Heavy Duty inner axle seal for all 1979-1985 Toyota 8" Front Axles, and all 1969-1/1990 Landcruiser front axles including FJ40, FJ45, FJ55, FJ60, and FJ62.

Designed again by Marlin Czajkowski himself, these front inner axle seals compliment our new Special Fit Rear Axle Seals.

New features include:
  • Indexed "lip" for a perfect perpendicular fit each and every time. No more "eye balling it"
  • Wider seal moves the rubber away from the metal flange to allow maximum movement and shock absorption
  • Steel Expansion Ring instead of a spring ensures true circular inner diameter even when the axle defelects and vibrates from side-to-side.

Compare the width of our new Heavy Duty Inner Axle Seal to other common seals:

SealWidth
Marlin Crawler Heavy Duty Seal    13.20mm / 0.520in
Factory Toyota Seal 8.14mm / 0.340in
Common "Imported" Seal 7.00mm / 0.275in

Here are some pictures that show the width comparison between the common aftermarket inner axle seal and the New Marlin Crawler Heavy Duty Inner Axle Seal:

Here we show why the new Marlin Crawler Heavy Duty Inner Axle Seal is so innovative.

Common Aftermarket Seal     Marlin Crawler HD Seal
Deflection required
for Air Gap
0.022" / 0.56mm
0.058" / 1.48mm

Here we see our HD Seal pushed 0.050", just before an air gap is formed:

And here is the common aftermarket seal pushed out 0.050", the same distance that our HD Seal still seals as seen above:

Here we see our HD Seal pushed 0.058" where an Air Gap is formed:

Now comes the real shocker!
Here is the common aftermarket seal SITTING AT REST.
The weight of the axle causes an air gap to form without any external forces!!

So this commonly used seal can't even support the weight of the axle it is supposed to be sealing! I know this is not necessarily a design criteria of a seal, but since the birfeld and inner axle vibrate and deflect, it is awesome to know that the Effective Sealing Distance of the Marlin Crawler Heavy Duty Inner Axle Seal is an astonishing 164% greater than the common aftermarket seals! Clapping

The price for these bad boys are only $7.49 each and are ready for immediate same day shipping!

Improving the Toyota Rock Crawling Industry one Creative Design at a time,
Marlin Crawler

Nice job!

I like it when companies invent "New" products instead of just replicating something someone else has already done. I'm glad you are thinking of ways to better our Toyota's.
