The taco supreme crawler kit, what is "rotated"? Does this mean pre-clocked, and if so 10 or 20 degrees?

How do you purchase the sale items online? I want to order the taco crawler, but when I click the description of item, or the "firecracker" icon it just reroutes me back to where I stared. Im interested in the "taco supreme" for the V-6 Auto transmission.

Is there any chance you guys would offer the New Year's special on MC-14450-NY In a 23 spline version for $649? also what would shipping be on this unit to 37919? Thanks In advance.
At this time we are only offering the Dual Ultimate Kit in a 21-sp version.

If the 23-sp version goes on sale, I will notify you via PM.

hey guys, i'm just wondering if the end of the year sale is always the same or comparable to previous years?
We usually offer different sale items at different sale pricing.

How do you purchase the sale items online?
The Firecracker icon () is used to denote the item as part of the New Year's Sale, hence it is a link to our New Year's Sales Event page.
The Shopping cart icon () is used to add the item to the cart for order/checkout.

I just ordered the "taco supreme" crawler kit online. I forgot to add that it is for a 2004 Tacoma Doublecab, although, I'm pretty sure you wont need that info. I just want to make sure you guys knew.

Also, do your tech's set up the adapters clocked to 20 degrees or is that something I do at time of install?

It takes a week or so for this kit to be assembled and shipped right?

Norris,

That is a good question and I am updating the checkout process for the Taco Crawler right now to prevent future confusion on this behalf.

I am looking at your order right now and I can update it for you.
Are you looking for 10-degrees rotation or 20?

The main adapter, the MC09-R10, is Rotated 10-degrees by default.
As for the front adapter plate (P/N 34-4GT-R10), we can either use no Rotation or install it with the 10-degree modification.

Please examine this picture:

Typically, we install the adapter plate (clean the surfaces, mated with Ultra Gray silicone and then bolted down) in the 0-degree pattern.

If the 10-degree Rotation pattern is desired, then we will drill out the 10-degree bolt pattern and plug off the 0-degree pattern to prevent leakage.

If we just defaultly build it with the 0-degree pattern, and later you choose to use the 10-degree pattern, then you will need to remove (unseal) the plate, drill out the pattern, plug the 0-degree pattern holes, and reseal the adapter and bolt it down.

It seems like a lot of work, so I am going to provide an option to specify this in the checkout page for future internet orders.

So could you please specify which pattern you seek: 0- or 10-degree pattern on the 34-4GT-R10 adapter pictured above?

Thankyou in advance,
BigMike

I want to have the front adapter clocked at 10 degrees... for a total of 20 degrees clocking overall at the rear transfercase.

I believe this will get the bottom of the transfercase up even with the bottom of the frame rails for added clearance. I have been told that it will be necessary to pound in the sheet metal of the floor panels to provide clearance for the added 20 degrees of clocking (although I have a 1" body lift, so it should'nt be too bad).

Does this sound right to you BigMike? I may just know just enough to screw myself over... your the expert... what do you think, does this sound feasible?

Also Mike, as Im sure you've figured out, this is for an IFS stock drivetrain truck so it will need to be the left hand front output IFS configeratiion.

Thanks, if there is any confusion just give me a call.

Ok, I have added the note to your work order and it is near the top of Rocky's list. It should be built this week and shipped out early next.

I also updated the Ordering process for all of the Rotated TacoBox adapters. Now it gives the option of 10-degrees or 20-degrees before you order it.

Regards,
BigMike

The site says the rear bumpers are in stock... I placed my order on Wednesday and have yet to receive any tracking info. What is the normal ordering/shipping proceedure as this has been my first Marlin purchase?

The 21-Spline Dual Ultimate "Kit" would be the two required Kits to build a Dual Ultimate.

Included are the 21-Spline Dual Case Kit (MC07-K / PN:MC-14100):

(MC08-K pictured above. Difference is MC08 = Billet Adapter, MC07 = Cast Adapter)

And the 21-Spline 4.70:1 Total-Spline Gear Kit (470-K / PN:MC-14003):

The site says the rear bumpers are in stock... I placed my order on Wednesday and have yet to receive any tracking info. What is the normal ordering/shipping proceedure as this has been my first Marlin purchase?
teamfx3, thankyou for your order.
Currently we have the following rear bumpers in stock and ready to ship:
MC-15300, MC-15310, MC-15311, MC-15410, MC-15411

Our website does not state that the bumpers are either in stock or not in stock except for the Longbed versions of which the frame mount is being redesigned at the moment.

If you are referring to the thread from November 17th, BUMPERS IN STOCK!! NO WAIT, then that thread verifies what I have said with us having "a few bumpers in stock."

The standard ordering/shipping procedure at Marlin Crawler is if the part is in stock then it should ship the same day if the order is placed before apprx. 2pm PST.

Orders shipped to the West Coast usually take 1-2 business days from the date shipped, and orders shipped to the East Coast usually take 4-5 business days from the date shipped. Most orders are shipped via UPS Ground unless otherwise specified.

Again thankyou for choosing Marlin Crawler, and if you could provide me with your order number, then I can look this order up first thing Monday morning and reply back with more information.

Thanks in advance and have a good weekend,
BigMike

Thanks in advance and have a good weekend,
BigMike

BigMike,

Thank you for the sale prices! Doesn't happen very often that the stuff I actually need is on sale, so this is extra cool. I emailed CJ requesting tracking info, but I will give you the ID # also in hopes that someone will have time to sort it out. Order ID# 16666284  Thanks!
