Mazda swap

hey what do i get the mazda springs from i know a pickup but does it matter between 2wd and 4x4, :headscratch: are there any differences between the 2wd and the 4x4 besides the springs is on the top side of the axel on the 4x4 and under on the 2wd.
and are 2wd toyota springs the same size as on the 4x4's.
wanting more flex then i have now with stock springs on rear

i just want a lil bit more want too be at the top of my ramp with some 37 boggers, on order.

Check out the topic 85 x-cab rear springs.  It has the caddy swap I did for a buddy.  Those springs Kick major A$$!!  They flex like mad and I have more axle wrap with stockers on my beater.

ok but do u know anything about the mazda setup because i think i can come up with them easyer then the others.
friend of myne just totaled his mazda 2wd truck so might get his rear springs if there not too screwed up.

I would say that the measure ments are gonna be the same, I know this topic was covered on pirates not long ago.  I believe they were the same. Ill go check.

Hey thanks white im gonna have too check out the pirate site more it seems like alot of good info.
Do u know anyone whos done the mazda swap and about how much lift it gives.

if you want to get to the top of the ramp, can't you just use two ramps :dunno:?

All the info you could ever want is on pirates just remember to do a very good search before you ask any Q's they will rip ya a new one in a hurry.  I almost did the mazda swap on the blue truck but it was summer and the u bolts were being a pita & I felt lazy thats when I decided on the caddy swap.

You will need to add a few leafs into the mazda..They will be too sofe and have a bit of wrap to them..I don't think it matters 2wd or 4wd..A couple added leafe should take care of the wrap..

ok about how much taller or shorter will it be with just the stock mazda leafs.
Im going to put my axel rap bar on so i wont have too worry about it any.

Ok guys with the stock 2wd mazda springs about how much lift will that give me in know prob maby an inch or too sence im moveing the hanger down more but about how much.

Ok got another ? i found some mazda 2wd springs for 20 bucks a set at a local junk yard but i need too know if it matters what kind of mazda truck too get them off of i found one that the frame is rusted in too and i pushed up and down on the rear springs and they are super soft they move with just my hands pushing on them but i found another truck but they seem a lil stiffer i dont know if its becuase it still has shocks pusheing on them or what.
