« on: Jul 29, 2006, 04:28:50 PM »
aight so i finally found time to destroy the DD and do the full-width converison, i know this is a yota site but i figured that everybody could enjoy some comic relief...here are the pics so far
here is the dana 60 rear end all shaved ready for welding

here are the nice 35 spline inners blingy ready for insertion

here is the dana 44 front in progress of being destroyed

the mad scientist at work with 8 inches or hard grinder

the finished wheels and what they look like on the tires

a special thanks goes out to my dad that lets me have a little corner in the garage to store all this shat

well dial-up is makin this build page be a pain in the ass... got some more stuff done and got some pics, i'll try to steal somebody's wireless tomorrow so i can put up some more...
santa came early and he must have mistaken me for someone else...install kit for the 60, stainless braided brake lines, bearings, new rotors and calipers for the front, and some big coils for the front, and some premium hubs for the front...gotta love having your best friend work at NAPA

worked on the leaf perches for the rear end, no sissy :pokinit: goin under the jeep so here is the beef...they are 4" wide and 7" long and the u-bolts run on the inside so they will be good and protected...why buy it when you can build it 10x better?

and this is what she looks like as she sits at the moment

somebody should have spent more time in the garage and less time at the beach, maybe the truck would have moved forward instead of stuttering and falling on its dirty bottom.if you want something go after it and dont give up until you have it. never take the easy way out.
