Marlin Crawler does NOT support any type of Trail Abuse or any kind of Ignorance to our Natural Resources and Public Roads. Marlin Crawler requests that ALL People Attending PLEASE PRINT OUT AND REFER TO THE RUBICON TRAIL: ETHICS AND TREAD LIGHTLY PRINCIPLES website. Please respect the land that we have and those who care for and work hard to keep these trails open. Any violations of the Rubicon Trail Ethics and Tread Lightly Principles will result in serious and possibly legal repercussions.

Please Tread Lightly at the 5th Annual Marlin Crawler Round Up.

Please print out the Rubicon Trail Ethics and Tread Lightly Principles and carry it with you for future reference.

MCR5 Information:
For the first time, we are charging for the event. Registration is $25.

We have tried and tried to keep this a Fee-Free Event, but we cannot do this any longer because we are now required to rent camping spots at the Springs Campground, including any neighboring camps, such as the Dirty Dozens, the Crazy Eights, Hammer Ville, BigMike Ville, etc.

Here is a break-down of the fees and what is included:
$15 = Rubicon Springs Camping Fee per Vehicle (required)
$10 = Dinner for Two (required)

So the registration charge covers for (2) Dinners and (1) Camp Spot for your Rig. You may bring extra passengers if you wish at no extra charge, however, if they need a meal, then Additional Dinners are available at $5 per Person. We would like to offer $5 "On The Spot" meal tickets, but this would depend if we have enough food to supply those who have already registered first. Also, As far as I know, the "Camp Spot" applies to your Rig and the immediate surrounding area. You may set up extra tents if you wish, but perhaps no more than 3 tents setup near your Rig.

The 5th Annual MCR T-Shirts sizes and prices are listed on the Registration Sheet (above) and are only available on a pre-order basis!! We will order the T-Shirts in early August so please get your orders in by then.

Unlike last year there will be an Event Raffle. The original idea behind the Round-Up is to get out and meet Marlin Crawler in the flesh, and to wheel with fellow Marlin Crawler Enthusiasts. Proceeds will go to FOTR.

So plan to attend the 5th Annual MCR and get your registration in the mail today!!

Thanks unclejpl4x4, KYOTA brought that to my attention, so I added this to my opening post:

..The registration charge ($25 or $35) covers for (2) Dinners and (1) Camp Spot for your Rig. You may bring extra passengers if you wish at no extra charge. If they need a meal, then Additional Dinners are available at $5 per Person if included with your original payment.

As for one person, Registration will still be $25 (early). We would rather have extra food than not enough food. I am sure that everyone is welcomed for seconds while supplies last.

As for the course, I believe there will be either a Chicken or Steak choice at the grill, but I am not sure. It will be either a "choice" or we will just choose to have either Chicken or Steak but not both..

BigMike is there a forum I can fill out and pay online so I dont have to deal with my POS printer that wont work right now?

It would be easier just to fill it out and submit it to your website w/ CC or paypal.

Thx,

Well, we *thought* about this but I have not been told to do it yet. Rubithon and many other events require that you snail mail the info in, and I think that is what we want to do too.

If you like, send me your PM and I will send out a letter with the papers in it!

Ok, now I have to go :offtopic: for a minute.  At Moon Rocks there was a couple on quads in insulated coveralls, and I totally thought of Mark and Diane  :beerchug:

Ok, sorry, back on topic :disturbed:

Hey, it wasn't that bad :dunno:  well, at least not in camp.  Standing aroundon Cadillac at 1o'clock in the moring was kinda chilly.

I'll be downloading the forms in a few days, when I get my computer all together!  :hyper:

I can't wait to go this year!!

MCR5 or BUST!! (I do have a 3.0 after all! )
