Marlin Crawler Limited Bling Knob/ Give-A-Way
« on: May 03, 2006, 08:54:41 AM »
This is our limited addition 10th Anniversary Billet Marlin Crawler 5spd transmission shift knob. This is another American made product from us. This knob is CNC machined from billet aluminum into the rough shape, anodized and then CNC engraved with our name, turtle head and 5 spd shift pattern. The gear shape resembles the shift hub end of our MC07 coupler. They are thread on with the factory thread pitch of M12x1.25. We have decided to run limited quantity since this is a special 10th anniversary item. The standard color is black. We only made a hand full of the blue and red. The price on these is $49 ea. This know will not be available on our web site right now. This is to give our forum members first chance.

We will be giving away 1 knob (your choice of color) to the board member who can post a picture of themselves with Marlin.  We will pick our favorite picture.

Don't make me go all the way to Fresno and stalk Marlin till I get a picture of him with me! Of all the times I've been around him I've never took a poser shot with him. He was usually under my truck checking my mods and telling me what truck I took the parts from.

Well this is the best I can do for a picture with him....

I guess I'm In

Had to do a screen capture from video hope this is good enough, I've only recently started taking pictures of stuff since my video recorder quit.

There are quite a few from our MCR4 trip and even though this is a little blurry it is my favorite.

We had finally arrived at Marlin's shop after our 2709.20 mile journey from Casselberry, FL to Fresno, CA.

Mark was already out of the motorhome as I was getting the dogs situated and on leashes on. By the time I got into the shop Mark was already under the hood with Marlin when I snuck up on them.

This was the shot of my first face to face meeting with Marlin, just before the big hug. ( :psss: the hug was for me, not Mark!)

You can call the shop but if it’s busy PM and I'll or one of the sales guys will call you back. We may through them up on the web site in a few weeks. Right now we just show casing them here. We are also playing with a transfer case shift know design for the future.

Here is another one I dug up of Marlin and his followers, with me standing back letting him do his thing.

BTW going through all the MCR4 pictures makes me miss the place and all the good people.

About to hit the road with my newly rebuilt turbo tranny & cases. I was one happy guy (with a damned big mustache from the looks of things). My then 9 year old daughter took the picture. She & I towed a U-haul with the tranny & case in it from Washington to Fresno in March. Plenty of snow on that trip. I somehow covinced her that the ideal vacation was going to see Marlin & having Daddy's new stuff installed. She did think Truckee was cool with 20 feet plus of snow though.
