Alright here's my to do list which is very subject to change as I look at it:

1. Rear leafs to push the rear back between 8-10" with minimal work (thinking all it *should* take if I don't use wider leafs, is re-mounting the rear shackle mount)
2. French mounts in the front to extend the front forward
3. Lower the whole thing a bit
4. Cut out the rear quarter and the front wheel well
5. Register/green sticker
6. Shocks all around
7. (if I have time) cover the big freekin hole in the middle of my floor

I may have some steering conflicts once all this is said and done Thud Fingers Crossed So we'll see - hopefully a flat pitman arm can solve the issues I have in mind may arise.

Better yet, blingn and I have discussed the imperativeness of everything and decided the only things that *have* to be done before she hits the trail are:

3. Lower the whole thing a bit
4. Cut out the rear quarter and the front wheel well
5. Register/green sticker
6. Shocks all around

I'd definitely cover that hole in the floor.   Thats just an accident waiting to happen, esp. if that ujoint lets go, or something gets caught in it.

I am running the yota axles and love em. I need a clutch bad - but the motor does great. IF I had shocks and it was a stable ride on the street, I could probably haul at 70mph (but not something I'd recommend with a 3' hole in the floor over the driveshaft Doh!

I have the Fuel Injected 2.6L and I love it. However, I really wanna run Toyota drivetrain so I don't have to build an adapter for the transmissions, BUT it looks like the adapter is what we're going to have to do - no complaints here though, either way it'll get the right trans in there so I can get rid of that stinkin intermediate shaft between the tcase and the trans right now Ack

Well, I've got the assistance of some family and friends lined up and we're going to have a work weekend. The plan is shocks all around - and depending on how many people we get and just how willing they are to get into the project, we might even get to moving the rear back (which will mean putting chevies in the rear Woohoo! ) and extending the frame in the front.

When extending the front, I'm going to have to re-think my steering. I have a stock box in the stock location right now with the pitman arm on the inside of the frame, but when I push the front forward it's going to need some major tweaking and maybe a whole new steering setup. That's TBD...

Don't really need much.... just some channel steel for the shocks - maybe even the f-250 shock towers..... I gotta see what the plan is for the mounts if it's tube or what. Fingers Crossed
