Why would that scare you.. I was just using them as antennas for my radio.. It's not like I was visiting and forgot to tell you I was hooked up to the railing around the patio. Yes If I was to transmit well you were touching it you could  :yikes:  , but I like to use wire in the trees. What did you think the "ve3nlp" thing was? :headscratch:   It's my callsign, and anyone in the world can look me up in the database.

Ok well I have been working on getting some video uploaded, so far I have 3 video clips. One is a .50cal Barret Sniper Rifle that I fired Standing up, another is an FN-P90 with a suppressor (silencer) using subsonic rounds..kinda fun..and the last one is a Diamaco C5 on full auto..I like this one. I have more to upload just taking awhile. Afghanistan..OUT :usa:

*edit* suppose I should put the link in here :smack:  :hammerhead:

Hey 93J in the FN-P90 video you wrote "The sub sonic rounds are meant to be used CQB so that when they hit a wall they do not richochet but merely fall harmlessly to the gorund. " What is CQB?

When I was roaming around over there, these things were laying all over the areas we were "scouting".. Hell there were so many they got used for every thing from fire starting to Butt wipe.. We also collect alot of these...mostly from Officers trying to buy their freedom.

Yeah I have a a few of the propaganda papers that we dropped at the onset of the the invasion. I also have a bunch of the "Sadam" money and the new stuff without his face.

I remember that, how bout this:

I remember the sand storms. Hell the weather reports were " today's forcast is calling for morning temp of "Damn it's hot" followed by afternoon temp's of "I'm taking a trip to hell were it's cooler", all with a 60 to 80 percent chance of buff the make-up off Tammy fay baker sand storms...
I didn't see any vehicles that were being driven by FRIENDLY forces in my part of that sandbox. We used the laser designator so much we used up the batteries..  Then we had to sneak around and put infrared strobe on targets..   ".......static ......Angel one this is papa bell....your target is the strobe please confirm visual contact.......be adviced blue forces east of strobe.. use north to south pass  over.."  ".....papa bell this is angel one confirm ID..." " ...angel one papa bell confirms ############## over"  ".... pickle is hot BBQ time keep your heads down."   High speed jet pass is heard and all hell desends to earth..   Smoke and smell drifts to the west..     We had it easy the first war,  no question if they were they bad guys no press following us around..

got this today,  i thought it was great :usa:

.Escorting a KIA Home.
Thomas Mouch
Sr. Mgr., Intl. BD, Asia-Pacific
Raytheon Company

Last week, while traveling to Chicago on business, I noticed a Marine sergeant in Dress Blues traveling with a folded flag, but I did not put two and two together.  After we'd boarded our flight, I turned to the sergeant, who'd been invited to sit in First Class (and was seated across the aisle from me), and inquired if he was heading home.
"No sir" he responded.
"Heading out?" I asked.
"No. I'm escorting a Marine home."
"Going to pick him up?"
"No. He is with me right now.  He was killed in Iraq.  I am taking him home to his family."
The realization of what he had been asked to do hit me like a punch to the gut.  It was an honor for him.  He told me that, although he didn't know the soldier, he had delivered the news of his passing to the soldier's family and felt as if he did know them after so many conversations in so few days.  I turned back to him, extended my hand, and said, "Thank you.  Thank you for doing what you do so my family and I can do what we do."
Upon landing in Chicago, the pilot stopped short of the gate and made the following announcement over the intercom.  "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to note that we have had the honor of having Sergeant Steeley of the United States Marine Corps join us on this flight.  He is escorting a fallen comrade back home to his family.  I ask that your please remain in your seats when we open the forward door [so as to] allow Sergeant Steeley to deplane and receive his fellow soldier.  We will then turn off the seat belt sign."
Without a sound, all went as requested.  I noticed the sergeant saluting the casket as it was brought off the plane, and his action made me realize two things: I am proud to be an American, and I will continue to fly on American Airlines because it respects what our soldiers do every day.
So here's a public thank-you to our military for doing what you do so we can live the way we do.

Have not wrote any updates in a while.  I finally got all the parts to build the front end.  I cleaned the housing and cut off all the brackets and painted the parts.  I will take pics later and post them.  I was just about to call and order my sas from Marlin and duty called.  I got orders to go back to Iraq.  So I guess this will be on hold till I get back.

One thing I wanna say is, weather you support the war or not, you must either support out troops or go move to some other sh*t hole country like Iraq so you can see why America is so great and see the reason why we are helping these people.

God bless our troops :usa:
