1998 4runner with 4.3 liter Chevy vortex/ turbo 400/ 205 tcase/ hi pinion 44 up front with 4.88 arbs front and rear/ rear is a turbo with 4.88s/ 63" Chevy's in rear with 5 in Chevy's in front/

Inside to inside on the rails of my truck is 56 1/2" the rack can be used with a little wider rail.

My box is 56 1/2" x 71" so it will work I think the rack is made for a second gen because its taller than my roof (1st gen has lower roof than 2nd and 3rd)
